Welcome to My World of World of Warcraft.
Latest Update: This site hosts the adventures of a rogue as it braves the many challenges set before it, in the World of Warcraft.
This is the story of my life. Most of the content here chronicles my adventures in the World of Warcraft, however, often the happenings may extend into my real life as well, as I highlight some of the days happenings. The majority of the content however, will be structured around what I am doing in WoW.
A lot of this will be rambling, as my intended audience is primarily myself, and I suppose my secondary audience is anyone else who can be assed reading. Some of what I write may be candid, most will probably be politically incorrect. There will probably be a lot of bitching, pissing and moaning, but there might just be something insightful that comes out in the end.
I make no attempt to claim expertise in World of Warcraft, or in any particular aspect of life. This is a blog, it’s biased, opinionated, and for the most part egocentric. Having said that if you disagree with me, I’m right and you’re wrong, end of story. But hey, feel free to leave a comment anyway :p
Who “the hell” am I?
I am a 23 year old male who plays World of Warcraft too much. I won’t be divulging character and server names here to protect my privacy but if you do wish to find out more you can always leave me a comment and we can chat.
I am not one of those players who have been playing since Beta release, who have a 70 of every class, who downed Illidan months ago, pvp 8 hours a day and raid 7 nights a week. I have been playing for a little over a year now, and as I said before make no claim as to my expertise at anything really, but I do know at least a small amount and am learning all the time.
Before making an attempt to quantify my WoW experience I should point out one vital fact about me, and consequently this blog – I do NOT like raiding. The first time you down a raid boss is awesome no doubt, the 30th time…is not what i consider entertaining. This does not mean I have no PvE end game experience, but it does mean that I won’t be 100% focused on end game content in this blog.
So what have I done in WoW, what characters do I have and what kind of time have I spent playing them? Here’s a brief account;
- 70 Undead Warlock (~90 Days Played Time)
- 70 Tauren Druid (~35 Days Played Time)
- 70 Night Elf Druid* (~25 Days Played Time)
- 70 Gnome Mage* (~30 Days Played Time)
- 70 Dwarf Warrior* (~20 Days Played Time)
- 65 Shaman (~10 Days Played Time)
- 62 Blood Elf Paladin (~10 Days Played Time)
- 56 Tauren Warrior (~22 Days Played Time)
- Many other < 40’s.
*Indicates that the levelling task of this character was shared with a friend of mine.
In addition to the above I have access to my own private WoW server and have experience using almost all classes and talent specifications, I have used all tier and pvp epics across these characters for the purpose of experimentation and for just plain fun.
